Frequently Asked Questions

Is a contract, short-term, or long term agreement required to start services?

No. We do work with short and long-term contracts, but many of our clients also work on a project-by-project basis.

Is there a deposit required to start services?

For project-based engagements, we do ask for a 50% payment for services; however, we work with each client to meet their unique accounts payable requirements.

For staff augmentation engagements no deposit is required. Invoices are submitted monthly (usually against a purchase order generated by the client), and will be billed based on the agreement. Generally, invoices are calculated either using the contracted hourly rate hourly rate by the number of hours a resource works during a month, or based on a flat-rate monthly fee.

What can I do now to prevent cyber attacks?

There are a number of things that an organization can do now to prevent cyber attacks, and we would be happy to discuss them with you. Generally speaking, creating a plan identifying which assets need secured as well as detailing specific information that is sensitive that needs protecting. From there, research best practices to secure the assets and information you need to protect, and take proper measure to protect your information and systems.

Careless or untrained employees are one of the biggest threats facing organizations as well. Take proper care to avoid ransomware attacks, make sure employees are trained. Phishing and social engineering assessments are a great way to evaluate the security awareness training of your organization’s employees.
